I faced terrible odds during my recoveries from two different medical crises, but I refused to give up, and I eventually won both battles. The recovery time took four years, but I never quit, and I am now better than ever. I lived to have a son, and he has been the greatest joy of my life. Our survival instinct is incredibly strong!
