The exponential growth of writers makes printed books hard to justify with the current world's limited resources as trees are being consumed in raging forest fires. We should all be reading books, newspapers, journals and magazines online. I have been a collector of hard copies, but now read practically everything online. To conserve earth's resources this is essential now and in the future.
Roald Dahl's work has been cathartic for children. All the children I have read his books to have loved his work. They enjoy hearing how Dahl's obnoxious characters meet their demise. Children have their own demons they would associate with Dahl's. My own characters are as obnoxious as hell.
