I believe book title and cover design are critical components to the overall literary work. These two components communicate volumes with regards to style, content and overall voice of the work. Unfortunately, it tends to be the last thing considered for many indie authors.
For me, literary success for my book would be "right audience, right time." As my book is a devotional, I believe success is when God uses the words written to speak to individual readers--challenging them to grow their faith and encouraging them in the steps they've taken.
I really had not intention to write a book. I've always liked to write, but never had aspirations to publish a book. Then, the Holy Spirit nudged me. The idea and concept of this book came about via a dream, actually, and I knew I needed to be obedient in following through on writing the book.
