      • I often do read book reviews. The good ones let me know I’m going in the right direction with my stories, and I love it when people enjoy the parts of the books I had fun writing. The “bad” reviews, or any critical comments, are even more helpful, though. Those let me know if there was something wrong with the story, if I missed any typos, or if I need to change something about how I write my characters, descriptions, story pacing, or anything else.

      • I believe that one of the biggest problems in the publishing industry is unintentional bias. Publishers sometimes choose to publish books based on their personal preferences or beliefs rather than what readers actually want. Publishers may not even be aware that they are doing it. However, the fact that many authors have struggled for years to get traditionally published only to self-publish and sell millions of copies indicates that this problem exists. Often, publishers reject books that don't fit into accepted genres or contain unconventional characters or themes, but these books go on to be adored by readers when the author finally gets their books out there.

      • Take breaks: It's important to take regular breaks while writing to avoid burnout. Take a walk, do some stretching exercises, or engage in any other activity that helps you relax.

Set realistic goals: Don't put too much pressure on yourself to write a certain number of words or pages in a day. Set achievable goals that you can realistically meet, and celebrate your progress.

Seek feedback and support: Share your writing with trusted friends, family members, or a writing group. Constructive feedback and support can help you stay motivated and improve your craft.
