  - "But not Benjamin. He would rather read about adventures in a giant peach than eat one." This quote from my book is a nod to one of my favorite children's authors, Roald Dahl. I still remember my second grade teacher reading his story, James and The Giant Peach as a read aloud and being captivated by the magic of it all.

  - I think my illustrator, Uliana, captured Benjamin with his tail in the ink well nicely without giving away the ending as to why this happened.
