Good editing! You can have the most amazing story, but if it's full of typos and run-on sentences like this one is going to be, then no one wants to keep reading, and authors need readers or else they won't get anyone telling them how wonderful their work is. Edit, and then pay someone (if you are an indie writer) to edit! Everyone needs a good editor.
