It sort of started around the time I first watched the show Travelers & I got the idea to write a story about a group trying to change the past, not to save the world, but just to make a better world where progress wasn't held back. Then as the idea began to take form, naturally one of my travelers would would fall in love with someone who would be accepted in the world she was helping to create.
