I have always had an active imagination. (Almost a Walter Mitty in my youth) During some very boring night shifts in my early thirties something flicked the switch. This produced a short children's story which was published many years later and the beginnings of a my recently released book, 'A Failure To Act'. After changing employment I focused on work and family for the next 28 years, only tinkering with writing until my retirement. (Straight into the COVID epidemic) If it had not been for Australia's severe lock down restrictions, I might still be looking at six unfinished chapters and a stack of half written ideas.
