Writing the dialogue to sound natural. Guys don't always use the same words to describe things as women, so it can be a challenge to write a man's speech to sound less floral.
If it stops feeling good, stop. Take a walk. Go outside. If you start to hate your writing, your characters, your stories, it will show and your readers will pick it up. Take at least an hour off once you get frustrated and come back when you feel relaxed. It also helps to look at the story through the eyes of each character. Look at the problem from different sides and see if there is a way to rework it. Remember, you have to be your book's first fan.
