I’d like to do this full time once I wind my “day job†career down in about 10 years. Until then I’ll keep chipping away when I have the time. My absolute dream is to have one of my stories picked up for the big or the small screen. I’m a real movie buff and I’m very visual, and I think “The Unravelling†could make a great adaptation. That’s the BIG dream!
I absolutely do! Like most writers I’m pretty obsessed with them and a good review can absolutely make my day! I had a bad one recently that included some fair feedback in the copy, but the star rating was brutal and very unfair. It knocked me for a while but I’ve just put that in a box now and I’ve moved on. My genre and style are not for everyone and that’s ok.
My children! I came to fatherhood late, first time Dad at 40 and now have a boy and a girl. I wanted to do something to show them that you can do anything if you put your mind to it, and my eight year old boy is already writing his own stories and using his art to design covers for his books as well. I’ve been writing since 2018 and started on my iPhone on planes but that’s another story……
