      • For me, the most difficult part is getting started. I allow too much self-doubt and impostor syndrome to creep in that makes me procrastinate or try to talk myself out of writing. That's when I have to pray and ask God to strengthen my faith to do the things he's set before me and to take away the self-doubt and fear that are becoming barriers to me moving forward.

      • I have definitely experienced writer's block throughout my writing journey. It helps to go back to your outline and mind map the chapter or section before beginning to write. This helps the creative flow and gets ideas out without trying to force it into a formal writing format. Then you can take those ideas to write your chapter. The key is breaking it down into smaller sections so you don't feel overwhelmed trying to do it all at once.

      • After retiring from a 27-year finance career, I felt God called me to share my story as a way to help other mom’s going through a similar journey. I wanted to give them something I didn’t have when my son was born: a glimpse as to what their future may look like and hope that their child could have a normal childhood.
