I first started writing when I was 14. I was taking English Literature classes and as homework we had to write an essay about the poetry of Robert Morgan. I decided to write a poem about his poetry instead which my teacher really liked. I continued writing till about the age of 21 when I lost my favourite poem (in the days of typewriters and paper) and though I tried to rewrite it several times I just couldn't get it right. So I decided to take a short pause from writing poetry. Thirty years later I started writing poetry again and since I have published my first book. Hence I call myself a "born again poet". I am currently working on several poetry related projects.
