I have several flash fiction pieces that have at their core my fears of the very real potential for disaster associated with the National Park and inclement weather conditions. Some of the experiences have come a little to close for comfort including; snow condition car accidents and sleeping in cars overnight due to snow.
Mermaid Spell the children's book is the product of a promise to locate a mermaid spell 😉. I think we weave many small moments, experiences or interpretation of place, people and sensation into our writing. And let's not forget that they say often life imitates art🧚
