Yes. Yes, I do. And I'm not so famous that I've gotten a lot of reviews, though. Hehe. I've only had one, single review so far, and it was five star so... How I deal with good reviews - I'm usually just so happy and ecstatic that someone actually read and enjoyed my book! How I deal with bad reviews - I haven't gotten any bad reviews yet... But what I'd recommend is that... you don't take it personally. Okay, there are ALWAYS going to be haters out there. But no matter what, you just keep being you. Keep writing! If you let one bad review take you down, trust me, you're never going to see a good review because you gave up!
Inspire a lot of people. I think that in the world, with so much sadness and depressing stuff, people often need something to lift them up and inspire them. To help them find a bit of hope during the hard times. I remember exactly how much books absolutely changed my life and helped me! I found hope, light, magic, and I owe every bit of good in me to books and to my faith. And one day, I just realized that this was what I wanted to do. So I guess that dream goal is to inspire a lot of people. And MAYBE with a few book awards (possibly a Newbery ;D) and hitting the NYT bestseller list along the way.
I have no schedule. Wild pantser here. One who gets herself into a WHOLE lot of writing trouble. XD. But I usually write, procrastinate by chatting with buddies, do sprints with them, procrastinate, tell myself firmly I'm going to WRITE.
Oh my goodness, no. I was just writing on a whim because I'd always had this idea in my mind. I was just bored one summer vacation and decided to give it a go. I dealt with my fair share of self doubt and nearly gave up, plopping onto the bed and literally announcing to my mom, "I'm not gonna finish my book." But somehow, I did! And I learned a whole lot along the way. It was only when I read Writing Magic by Gail Carson Levine that it inspired me and made me really realize that THIS is what I really want to do. So now, I see it as a full time profession (the best one in my opinion. XD)
Never give up. This is one of the most important parts, and you'll never succeed at the other stuff without a whole lot of determination and spirit. You are going to get stuck, doubt yourself, and probably get a million rejection letters. But DON'T GIVE UP. Keep on believing, chasing your dreams, and determination will get you through all the challenges. If you give up, you'll never reach the stars. So keep writing, take care of yourself, and have fun!
