For me it's been absolutely revolutionary. I wasn't in favour of e-readers for a long time, but since I've discovered that my device can read aloud to me, I've been devouring new books. I don't always have the time to sit and read like I used to, so being able to listen to stories while I'm busy is the perfect solution. I still love paper books though!
I'm always experimenting with new styles. It's nice to be an omniscient narrator and know what every character is thinking, but it's also very exciting to limit the POV and keep things a surprise.
I watched Peter Pan for the first time when I was about 5 and was sorely disappointed that Wendy and her brothers didn't get to stay in Neverland, so I imagined a different ending. I've been firmly on the storytelling path ever since.
