What inspired your approach to your stories or themes?

I'm actually working on a number of projects at the moment; two books that are spin off characters from my recently finished series and I'm branching out into the fantasy genre.
My writing comes from my preferences in reading. If I wouldn't pick up my own books as a reader then I think I wouldn't enjoy writing it as well.

Thank you for contacting me and being so gracious. That's an easy question and a complicated one all rolled into one, but here it goes...
I wish someone would have told me to believe in myself sooner, and what I'm writing is worth being written.
No matter what age a person is, we all have self-doubt or aren't aware of their own worth sometimes. Yes, I know this sounds quite negative, but I truly believe we all have some sort of nuance or fear holding us back.
Looking back over the last five years, I don't regret all the frustration and road blocks along the way, I've grown stronger from them. I just wish I'd believed I could do it sooner, because I absolute love writing and sharing it with!
