Where were you born, and what was your childhood like?

I was born in Johnstown PA, but I grew up in Boonsboro MD. I had your typical childhood.

What are your hobbies apart from writing?

I am currently working on my nail tech apprenticeship.

Which of your childhood dreams was the first to die?

When I grew up I wanted to be a lawyer, that died as I went through school and realized that I hate speaking in front of people.

What inspired your first original story? Did you share the tale with anyone?

I joined a website called writing.com and they would post contests with topics attached and I just wrote based off the topic. I shared it with whoever read it on the site. I don’t think my family has read any of my stories.

What do you love the most about writing romance?

I love giving everyone who deserves it love and their happily ever after.

What classic books would you recommend to your 17 years old boy to read?

I would have to say, To Kill a Mocking Bird because it is something I enjoyed reading when I was his age.

How did you come up with the title of your book, The Journal of Kane Winters?

Honestly, I just kinda hit me and it is kinda what the book is. Him talking about his life.

Who inspired the character of Veronica in "Riding the Waves"?

No one really, I base my female characters off how my alter ego would respond in that situation.

How did you come up with the plot of your book, Hot Moroccan Nights?

My story in Hot Moroccan Nights, just came to me one day when I was doing research for trips and life in Morocco.

Do you begin writing a story with the ending already in mind?

Nope, I just start writing and see where the characters take me. I’ve tried planning it out but it always changes by the time I get to the main parts.

How has your fur baby changed your life?

Laya, brings me comfort. She’s always by my side no matter what my mood is she’s always there.

What’s something you are really good at those few people to know about?

This is hard because everyone that knows me knows that I can cook, I am creative and crafty.

Do you ever have writer’s block? How do you overcome it?

Occasionally I do have writers block. And when it happens I step away for a few days and either work on another story or just leave it until the characters start talking to me again.

What are you currently working on?

I am working on my Holliday Family Series. A group of wealthy siblings all born on or near holidays and their journey to finding the love of their life.

I joined a few years ago and so far everything has been great!
