Can you share a bit about your journey into becoming an indie author? What inspired you to take this path?
My journey to becoming an indie author began when I decided to take the plunge and publish a book for others to read.
My inspiration comes from when I was a preteen sneaking a flashlight underneath my covers so that I could read a book after bedtime.
As a writer and an avid reader, what books or authors have influenced your writing style the most?Every book that I've read and audiobook that I've listened to has influenced me.
How do you balance the challenges of being a new author with the demands of daily life?I'm still trying to find a good balance. When I discover it, I'll let you know.
Your tagline mentions publishing "heart-pounding romance novels." What draws you to the romance genre, and what elements do you think make a romance novel truly captivating?I love romance. The elements that I believe make a romance novel are the character development and attraction between the female and male lead.
Your readers and supporters are important to you. How do you engage with your audience, and what kind of feedback or interactions mean the most to you?I engage with my audience through my email newsletter, ARCs and on social media. Every interaction I receive from a reader means th e most to me.
What is the most rewarding aspect of being an indie author, and what are some of the challenges you've faced along the way?Having someone read my books. Advertising my books to the audience that will enjoy reading my books.
How do you come up with your characters and plot ideas? Are they inspired by real-life experiences, or do they purely come from your imagination?My latest release 'Forbidden Daddy's Secret Baby' follows Melanie and Alexander as they fund love while overcoming past traumas. This story was inspired by Forbidden Billionaire Daddy and Forbidden Daddy's Baby. I dreamed about the characters and plot. Everything comes purely from my imagination.
As a new author, what advice do you have for aspiring writers who are just starting their own journeys?Keep going. Never give up.
Are there specific themes or messages that you aim to convey through your novel, “Forbidden Billionaire Daddy”?In a the worst trial and tribulations in your life, you can find love. Don't Miss out on the opportunity of love because of what you have going on in your life.
How has your reading experience influenced your writing? Are there specific books or genres that you find particularly inspiring?Every book I read is an inspiration.
Do you have a favorite character or scene from your own novel, “The Billionaire's Secret Baby”? If so, what makes it special to you?Yes, my favorite scene is when Keith is taking care of Stephanie in his office. This scene, shows how Keith can be gentle.
What's next for Scarlett Score? Are there upcoming projects or goals you're excited to share with your readers?Another book in my book series. Possibly the last book in my book series.
How has your experience of being associated with AllAuthor been?I've had a pretty good experience and have even recommended some of my author friends to join.
