Where did you grow up? What are some of your favourite memories growing up?

Lansing, Illinois

Going fishing with my family.

What first inspired you to write?

My love of reading. I always wanted to write, but was too scared in the being to do it,

What are some important things to remember when writing romantic suspense?

Keep the readers on their seat.

What do you think is better motivation to write something (story, song, poem, etc): being in love or heartbreak?

I think you can gain inspiration from both. I personally use both.

What are some responsibilities that come with being a mother? How do you think it has impacted your writing?

I lost my only son last November and I can say I miss every responsibility of being a mother.

How many books do you plan to write in The Greek Mafia And Friends series?

There three slated right now but I'm sure there will be more. There are also two spin-off series in the works as well.

Which of your characters do you relate the most to and why?

Definitely GeeGee because she is so nurturing, but has that 'test me if you want too' attitude and she's not afraid to speak her mind.

What is the first book that made you cry while reading it?

The Color Purple Have any of your books ever made you cry? Yes, A Vixen's Redemption, The Salvant Brothers books -Axl, Adam, & Showdown, and My, My Sweet Potato Pie to name a few.

For your own reading pleasure, do you prefer eBooks or paperback?

I prefer both. If I liked a story in Ebook, I will usually buy the paperback to add to my library.

What is the best review you've ever received? How do you deal with the bad reviews?

When a reader said The Ruthless Greek is the best book she's read in 2022 thus far. I use bad reviews as constructive criticism. Not everyone is going to like my books and that's okay. It used to bother me in the beginning, but I've grown some tuff skin since then.

What inspired the plot of your novel, The Ruthless Greek? Was there anything that was particularly hard about writing this book?

The plot for the book came book 3 when Yiorgos, the main character was introduced to the series. It wasn't hard at all. I knew I wanted Yiorgos to be ruthless and I wanted his lady love to be no nonsense book nerd.

Got any advice for any aspiring writers out there? What is one writing tool/website/magazine/etc that you couldn't live without?

Don't doubt your work. Self doubt will hold good writers back. I couldn't live without the editor on my Word.

What are your thought on book promotions through social media? Has AllAuthor been able to help at all in this aspect and would you recommend it to other authors?

I think it's a good marketing strategy. Promoting on social media gives you a wider range to get your books out there. AllAuthor has been very helpful with promoting. I've gained new readers from using their services and I have recommended it to fellow authors.
