Alicia A. Reid has 17+ years experience in the Healthcare field, specializing in Dementia care. During the years I have worked Memory Care Units and State Facilities, Respite Caregiver, Hospice Caregiver and as a Self-Employed Caregiver. I have consulted families that needed 1:1 guidance and training in dementia care and have written content for companies that hired me for their employees to learn the steps to improvement in the field of dementia care. God has opened a door for me to share my experiences through writing with my first book, “Health & Wellness - Tips For Caregivers” in June 2020. My second book entitled, “A Caregiver’s Guide: Alzheimer’s & Dementia” was published shortly after in July 2020. In September of 2021, I published, “Herbal Healing for Your Mind”. Then in March 2023, I wrote “ Word Search Puzzle Book” and “Mandala Coloring Book”. I will be releasing my new book entitled “ Shattered Illusions: A Dementia Journey” in mid April 2024. On March 22, 2024, I will be releasing “Unlocking Joyful Moments: Empowering Caregivers & Enhancing Lives in Dementia Care”. I love writing so much that I have become a blogger, content creator, podcaster, poet and created courses for e-learning dementia for professional caregivers, families and healthcare companies.
