About I enlisted into the United States Army after graduating from high school in 1982 and served over 25 years in various skills and levels of leadership, including within US Army Aviation as an Air Traffic Controller, US Army Air Defense Artillery on the 20mm Vulcan Short Range Air Defense Cannon, and in support of the US Army Recruiting Command. I retired from the US Army in January of 2008, as a Command Sergeant Major and continued to serve as a defense contractor for the Recruiting Command and federal civil service employee within the US Army Medical Command's Strategic Communications Directorate as a Senior Management Analyst (GS-13), until being medically retired in 2013. I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and completed my undergraduate degree in history in May 2019. Currently, I am applying my degree and over 31 years of military and government experience in writing an epic post-apocalyptic military science fiction series. My lovely wife, Tiffany, and I, along with our wonderful kids, granddaughters, and our Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties) live in Marion, Texas.
