I am Nidhi Rathod. I have recently completed my graduation in bachelors or arts. Reading or writing I never believed was my thing. I always enjoyed watching movies. But every time I watched the movie I wondered through the numerous outcome of different possibilities. Being an extrovert, it was never difficult for me to get along with people. It was just a few moments of me talking, until I make the stranger comfortable, then for the entire time it is them who keeps on talking and I am the one who is listening to their stories. I love hearing the unsaid words. A story that is not fancy but real and sometimes harsh. And I also love listening to the same story from different perspective. Therefore, somewhere I feel, my urge to write was derived from the part of me which has abundance of stories from strangers, family and especially the great and beautiful Hindu mythological stories that I have been listening since I was a kid and there are still a lot many that I am ignorant of.
The idea of writing, first striked me during the lockdown. Like everyone else I was at home with no plans due a sudden trapped vacation. I always used to have various story running on my mind, literally day and night. But they were not so disturbing before as I had things to do. But during the pandemic it was becoming really difficult for me focus on anything. I read on the internet somewhere that if you write down your thoughts then it may stop bothering you. And therefore, I decided to follow the internet. The 18 year old me took a red spiral bind book and pen and started writing, with the one story that was bothering me the most.
