BIOGRAPHY

I became an independent author after serving in the US Air Force and working in various hospitals (in the military and on into civilian life). I've written fiction and non-fiction books on my own and with other authors. I share them through my company: Call Sign Wrecking Crew, LLC named after the first series that David McKoy (RIP) and I wrote.

I'm an avid reader and have been known to write and share book reviews from time-to-time.

      • I had written short stories and poetry when I was younger. I was most actively doing this in high school even when it wasn't required. My daughter encouraged me to give it a try when I was looking at a career change - 30 years later. My friend, David McKoy, also encouraged me. I began writing professionally in 2010. David and I published our first book in 2011. Ever since then, I've been learning new things from fellow authors. I continue to grow in confidence with each new book I publish. I love what I do and I appreciate all the support that I've received along the way. I love reading independent authors. Don't worry, I adore hybrids and traditionally published ones, too.
