BIOGRAPHY

Author of more than 40 books, fiction and non-fiction, Don writes about WWII, submarines, broadcasting, college sports, NASCAR racing, and more. Don's thriller, HUNTER KILLER, was a movie featuring Gerard Butler and Gary Oldman. His biography of African American artist Steve Skipper was the basis for the theatrical documentary COLORS OF CHARACTER. Several of his other works have been optioned as major motion pictures and Don is writing two other screenplays, one based on his books.
