BIOGRAPHY
Kevin is from Oakland, California. He's a U.S. Air Force veteran with over 20 years of active duty service, at locations around the world. In describing his first book, "Don't Gamble on Life Improvement... Until You Shift the Odds!" Kevin says, "This isn't a self-help book. I don't refer to it like that. It's a book on self-development that I've disguised as a semi-memoir." He cleverly combines personal experience, logic, humor, and observation to explain a number of topics that may be posing as obstacles, making life unnecessarily complicated. Then, he offers effective suggestions on how to overcome them, because the formula to do so is simpler than many people realize, though it may not be what they'd expect.
Kevin developed a passion for assisting people with achieving their goals early in his career. That passion was instrumental in the writing of the book, and the basis for his overall mentality. He continues to show people how simplify the circumstances they face, because it's easier to overcome the obstacles if they're made simple. Your perception is the key, and a change in mindset may do the trick.
"Don't Gamble..." was written to assist people with achieving their goals by simplifying challenges. He says, "All the reader needs to do is open up the book and start reading. There's a takeaway for anyone who reads it. The information in my book will not apply to every reader, but every reader will know somebody the information does apply to!"
Kevin has contributed to several nonfiction anthologies that give readers a look inside the minds of U.S. servicemembers, and of men and the lessons they've learned during their transition to manhood. He is branching out into the fiction arena, with a story in currently in development.
Kevin enjoys meeting and interacting with people, playing and watching sports, listening to music, movies, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
