Jennifer Florax
BIOGRAPHY

My writing is based on life experience, and I desire to share the lessons I've learned with others to save them a little pain and shave some time off the learning curve. I am not going to claim to be any expert, I am a sharer of hard lessons learned and years of experience in all sorts of work environments.

For the boring stuff, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, with experience in change management and infrastructure asset management. And just for extra fun, I'm also a certified esthetician.

      • In addition to writing for fun, I also write a lot for my day job. I regularly get stuck on what to say. Sometimes I start with my closing sentence because that's what I want to work towards. Other times, I walk away from the piece; I call it letting it marinate. I write it all down, whether it makes sense or not. Then let it marinate when I return in a week it starts to make sense and come together. And sometimes, I clean. Cleaning my house seems to provide writing inspiration.
