About KB Nelson is a Canadian writer of poetry and speculative fiction. Her writing finds inspiration in both the natural and the speculative world. KB’s poems and short stories have appeared in over two dozen journals and anthologies. Her two handbound chapbooks, “Muse of Natural History” (Black Ruby Press, 2021) and “Beach Access” (Black Ruby Press, 2023) focus on the natural world.

KB has resided from coast to coast in Canada, in Arizona, and in New Zealand, and she currently lives, writes, and hikes the beaches and forests on the unceded territory of the Sechelt First Nation on B.C.’s Sunshine Coast. She looks at Instagram occasionally @kb.nelson.wordsmith.
