      • Figuring out the time to write. I have a young toddler now, and I am only able to write when he is napping or going to bed at night. It's a really fine line between whether I should sleep when he sleeps or miss out on sleep tonight to get more accomplished. I'm still trying to figure out what that right balance is.

      • My mother told me that I have been telling stories since I could talk. I loved telling stories and surprising people with either twists or endings of the stories I created. In 5th grade, my mom got me a computer, and I started typing them out. It was not easy by any means, as I was dyslexic, and typing was hard for me. But I stayed with it, and over the years, I got better and better. I would say since I was about three years old! haha

      • Keep going. Always make time to write a little each day, even if it's just a sentence or two. It's harder to jump back in the longer you take to get back to writing.
