BIOGRAPHY

Mary Anne McMahon was born and raised in Detroit. She highlighted her twentieth century experience growing up there during the height of the automotive industry in her book, The Motor City and Me: Our Story. In the late 1970’s McMahon moved to Houston. She always had an affinity for children. She was an elementary teacher for 28 years and later owned and operated a puppet performing business. Now a grandmother of elementary students she has fulfilled her dream of writing a children’s picture book.
