      • Absolutely, though I tend to recreate places that I've been to that have had a profound impact on me more than events. For example, the beach at the end of "A Crow in the Canyon" is based on my time spent in Carpinteria Beach, California. Features of Yellowstone will also be a part of Book 3.

      • Actually, no, not when I was really young. Everyone made out writing to be something serious or that I had to only write poetry. That wasn't my cup of tea. It wasn't until I was a teen that I realized writing was so much more expressive and that I could invent my own worlds and explore my own ideas. That's when I realized I wanted to be an author.
