BIOGRAPHY

Hello! I am a fictional romance author, long time reader. I became a writer after my intense need to know more about a story and character brought me to writing a fanfiction style backstory for a supporting character in a series. The elaboration led to a complete infatuation.
My books all have an abnormal psychological twist embedded in the romance tale. It is important that we all know and accept the differences we have. Those differences, mentally, physically, culturally, socially, etc., are the basis of my tales of romance.
My stories are all about love. Sometimes the love is for one's self, sometimes for another person, sometimes for a higher being on a more spiritual level.
I did not begin writing to get rich so my stories are true to the theme, storyline, hero, or heroine. I do not write according to the current status quo in any form or fashion.

I love the dynamic of the main character and her love interest. It is not what we are accustomed to seeing in love stories. In this story, he is the one to help put her back together. I find that to be worth every word. The mental health. The painful past. It is all there. Selflessness. But the love story pulls on my heart strings every time I read it.

      • I have. I hit a rut where I felt the stories were starting to blend together. I couldn’t figure out how to stay true to the characters while making the story more unique and interesting. To overcome it, I stopped trying to meet the status quo. I focused on character development, set up a few scenes, and really just let the characters tell their own stories.

      • I stopped wanting to perfect the story’s style and focused on just doing a good job of telling a great story. I worried about so many of the little things (word count, perfect grammar, dialect, character names, etc.) that I don’t believe truly matter if you just focus on telling the story. I would spend two weeks on a chapter that was just noise to the storyline. No more. Never again.
