My aunt was very much skeptical of me wanting to be a writer as was my ex husband. My aunt actually told me once that I was not special enough to be a writer. My first marriage ended partly because of the fact that I refused to give it up for him. My biggest supporters have been my mom and my current husband. He is such a big supporter that he edits my books and we are starting a new series together.
What encouraged you to start writing?
I started as a teenager because I was put into a creative writing class. I had a friend at the time that told me I needed to drop the class because it wasn’t for me. She saved my life.
