BIOGRAPHY

Trinidadian Brenda Mohammed is a renowned, multi-genre, award-winning author, and poet who has written twenty-two books to date.
She is a former Bank Manager of a leading International Bank in Trinidad and Tobago. She holds a Diploma in Banking from the Institute of Bankers in London. After Banking, Brenda moved into the field of Insurance and obtained a Diploma in Life Underwriting from the American College, USA. She qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table, the Premier Association for Financial Professionals, six times in a row and was granted Life Membership in MDRT in 2010.
In November 2018 she received two book awards from Readers Favorite International at an Awards Ceremony at the Regency Hotel in Miami. The awards were for I am Cancer Free in the category Health and Fitness, and Zeeka Chronicles, in the category young adult thriller.
Two of her books, 'Stories People Love' and 'How to Write for Success' topped the Connections EMagazine Readers Choice Awards and won Gold awards. 'Stories People Love' also captured the overall Gold award in all categories.
Brenda is the Founder of the group How to Write for Success, an affiliate of the Facebook Group Motivational Strips. She was one of the driving forces in the production of an Anthology of Poems, A SPARK OF HOPE: An Anthology of Poems for Saving Lives. The book topped the charts on Amazon and made Best Seller No.1 within the space of two days.
Brenda was appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Motivational Strips Academy of Literary Excellence and Wisdom by the Founder Shiju H. Pallithazheth on 5th November 2018.
In October 2018 she was appointed as an Honorary Member of the World Higher Literary Academic Council of WORLD NATIONS WRITERS’ UNION of Kazakhstan.
On 29th December 2018, Brenda was awarded the World Laureate in Literature 2018 by World Nations Writers Union. Again, on 30th December 2018, she received a Global Literature Guardian Award from the Founder of Motivational Strips and its Associates, World Nations Writers’ Union, and Union Hispanomundial de Escritores. Yet again. on 31st December she received a Certificate of Honour for serving as a juror in an International Poetry Contest sponsored by World Nations Writers Union.
On 4th March 2019, Brenda received a Global Peace Award from Motivational Strips and the Nominating Authorities.
