Talia knows how to ruin dangerous men from behind a screen. After fleeing her abusive art school boyfriend, she finds herself at the vicious hands of a childhood friend turned stalker. She tells herself she's safe, and that no one would hunt a girl like her. Then a dead rabbit appears outside her studio, and every illusion of safety is shattered.
Leo is a former Army Special Forces soldier turned long-haul trucker with a drinking problem, a violence problem, and no interest in pretending to be a good man. When he stumbles across Talia, she seems like the answer to all his problems. She's eager for the safety he provides. He's eager to have a companion on the road and better yet - she agrees to let him keep her in his truck for three weeks, a test drive for their relationship.
But in the claustrophobic confines of his truck, both of their dark pasts tumble out into the light. As Talia is pulled into a world of hackers and online vigilantes, she and Leo must confront how their secrets intersect, and what the truth brings into their lives.
Keep Me Caged is an explicit dark romantic thriller with obsessive love interests (MMF), morally gray characters, lots of danger, black humor, and a hard-won HEA.
Nothing hunts like the wounded.
