“Once upon a time, in a comer of the world where the sky was united with the earth, a place where every night the Sun and the Moon walked among the stars, there was a forest of hazelnut trees. In that forest lived all the squirrels on Earth. It was the only forest that had hazelnuts during all seasons: spring, summer, autumn, even winter. The hazelnut tree was enchanted; if you cracked one hazelnut from the tree, the other grew immediately on the spot as if by magic."
