Publishing my first book baby opened my eyes to both good and bad things in the publishing world. The best thing I learned is to always reach out to others when you are struggling. I've made so many new friends going through the same thing as me. I've also learned how expensive and time consuming publishing is x). So it can discourage me to write more, because I feel burnt out.
This has only happened once in two years, and it made my day! I was shocked and embarrassed, but most of all ecstatic that I had made a difference in this reader's life. I still remember the day as if it happened yesterday. It's one of my most cherished memories.
