Book Overview
She Feels is a collection of flash fiction and short stories. Some are based on true stories. Some are entirely fiction. Within these stories, a girl struggles to accept that a best friend has grown apart from her; another girl sifts through murky feelings for a boy who is way out of her league. A young artist discovers a ... startling truth about her childhood imaginary friend, and two strangers get stuck on a rollercoaster together. The collection ends with a short story in which two teenagers head out to the lake for a weekend away before their last year of high school starts. The universe has other plans, however, because they instead find themselves stranded in an abandoned old mansion - except they might not be alone in the house, after all. She Feels is an experiment in emotional expression and creative inspiration. It is an illumination of life's smallest moments, as well as a representation of the biggest moments. She Feels, simply, is a collection of stories dedicated to living in the moment, accepting and fighting our demons, and finding the freedom within our hearts.read more
I have had a passion for reading and writing since I was in junior high. Books are treasures, and knowledge is the best tool anyone can have. I remember trying to write silly little stories as a kid in elementary school, and gradually worked my way up to writing longer, mo... re serious works. I didn't initially plan to be an author when I grew up. The more experience I gained, and the more books I read, however, pulled me farther and farther into the literary world! I like to think that I didn't find writing as a career, writing found me and taught me where I truly belong.
I have obtained a Master's Degree in Public History from Southern New Hampshire University, and I have Bachelor's Degrees in Creative Writing and English, along with a minor in Anthropology. I particularly enjoy reading YA novels, hanging with my dog, and learning about occult history. I have lived in the Rochester, New York area my entire life.read more
