    • "This is a sharply written finale for the trilogy. If you haven’t read the previous two “Flames of Perdition” you should do it now! That said, this third book is my favorite of the series. McCandless ties up the narrative in a very satisfying—if occasionally blood-soaked—way. What most kept me so much in the series were the strong characters. Even though I like the main character, I found the side characters very rich and interesting. Too many times authors give short shrift to side details, but this series really brings you in and gives you investment in the characters around Del." -- Joy D. Ashton
