- Students have very few social skills. I greet students every day at the door to the school. You can count the students on one hand that say "good morning" back to me, or later, "have a nice day," or weekend, or anything. Anything!! We laugh, shake it off, and keep trying.

- Do you think the SNAP program is frivolous? There are children in every district whose parents don't feed them breakfast or have money for lunch. If we care about our children, shouldn't we make sure that they have a healthy meal so they can think and feel their best? What do you think?

- Social Media is a huge influence on children today. They see things that even I am not privy to. Parents often believe they can control their children's learning, especially in school. I say that they should trust that school will not only teach facts but also clearly and truthfully present them, unlike what they may see on social media. You can not protect your children from the facts of real life. It will come to harm them. Knowledge is power. Teachers are not trying to indoctrinate your children.
